Santa’s grotto

On Tuesday night me,Joel, mummy and auntie Rachael went to santa’s grotto at Orchardleigh House. First we went to arts and crafts and made reindeer food, I helped my little brother Joel make his. Then we went to find out our elf names, the silly elf Robin helped us, my name was the same as Joel’s Frosty Sparklepants. Next we went to a path of light to the wishing tree and put shells,stones/gems and wood. After that we went on the elfmobile down a light lake. Then we had photos sitting on reindeers and a sleigh. Also I was sitting on Comet. Last but not least we went to see santa he told us to tidy our room so he doesn’t step on anything. Then he gave us presents. Last we went to the cafe to have a hot chocolate and a sausage roll.

My weekend adventure

At the weekend I stayed in Woolacombe in a large static caravan. Also Sid, Malachi, Natasha, Kev and Mia came to. On the first day I went arund the block on my bike with Sid. Me and Sid kept jumping off of kerbs. In the evening we went to a club where there was an arcade and a soft play. I saw Finley Lynch, Jenson, Jude and Charlie Haines, we all played together.
The next day we drove to Bideford to race my bike for the day. I came 4th in my first moto, 4th in my 2nd moto and 5th in my 3rd moto. I came first in my B final. My Mum and Dad were really proud of me.
We went to the awards ceremony for the season which was held at the campsite next to ours. I went up on stage and got a trophy and a medal for my racing throughout the summer. We went back to our campsite and carried on having fun with our friends until midnight.
The next day we went swimming in the big pool and the little pool had a big mushroom fountain. Me and my brother swam with my Mum.
That afternoon we walked to the beach, looked in the rock pools and looked at some hermit crabs. We walked into Woolacombe then caught the bus back to our campsite. We had a fantastic weekend and I was very proud of my achievement.  My award and medal is displayed on my chest of drawers in my bedroom.  My Dad is going to put up a shelf so I can put all my medals up safe out of the way of my little brother who likes to play with it!

BMX racing in Paignton

On Sunday I went BMX racing in Paignton as part of the South West Regionals. I raced for the Bath BMX team. I took part in 3 races and then 1 final. I came 4th, crashed in my 2nd and came 4th again in my 3rd race. In the B final I came 1st place against 1 other racer. My Mum, Dad and Brother called Joel came down from the Bath tent to cheer me on. My Mummy came up to the gate to help me balance on my bike before the start. The race begins by a recorded commentator saying “Ok riders, random start, riders ready, watch the gate” there are 4 beeps and the gate drops down, the race begins. Whilst we wait for our race to start we stand altogether in our correct pen. We know which races we are to take part in because race sheets with our names, plate and race numbers go up for everyone to see. When you are racing a man calls your name out to the crowd to let them know what position you are in. After Id done my racing because I raced near a beach I asked my mum and dad if we could go to the beach and they said “Ok”.  So then me and Joel were happy so we started to walk and when we got there I saw my racing friend called Fintan and we played and he went into the sea and we went to our house “bye” we said wave.
