I had a look at Selwood academy the school I would like to go to in September next year .It was VERY exciting I was walking in and Mia and Eloise ran to see me . We saw two hand made racing cars . We got a big bag with a note book ,pencil ,mini ball,pen and a drink’s mat .we saw Charlie she came with us we went to the canteen for a taste of the school food it was very yummy,we explored the classrooms it was a very fun night at Selwood!!!
Regional championships
last weekend Finlay and I raced at the regional Championships in Exeter. It was Finlay’s first championship and He really wanted to finish on the podium. He rode really well and made the Final after getting two 1sts and a 2nd in his qualifying rounds. He tried so hard but just missed out on 3rd by half a wheel, I was very proud of him.
This was my 3rd championships and I had finished 2nd both times before. I was determined this time that was going to win it. Like Finaly I had 2 wins and a 2nd in my qualifiers and knew I had to give it all to stand a chance. The gate dropped and I snapped first and hit the first corner at the front. I led all the way and going intomthe last corner where my dad was standing, I wanted to shout to him the I was going to do it but I knew I needed to concentrate to the end. It was a great feeling to finally have the title and the SW1 plate.
Finlay’s holiday
During my Holiday i went to Belgium with my family. We stayed at a place called Molenheidestraat ( Like a Centre parcs). We had loads of fun, it had a great pool with massive slides and a huge indoor and outdoor play park. I watched Harri race which was fun and spent lots of time with my friend Jenson.
I raced at the British Championship when I got home and was really unlucky not to make the final against the top riders, just getting knocked out in the Semi finals. Really Happy to finish in the 12 in the country this year and hopefully finish even higher this year. I have been signed to the same team as my brother and am looking forward to next season.

Harrison’s holidays
During my holidays I was lucky enough to be selected to be part of the Great Britain squad to travel to Zolder in Belgium for the Bmx world championships. The weather was really hot and the track was inside “Spa” Formula 1 race circuit and we parked on the race track.
Daddy had told me that there was a big first jump and decided that if I wanted to do well I would have to jump it. In practice I hopped in and out of it a couple of times and then just went for it!
When it came to race day I cleared the jump and was leading my first race of the championships. I had a Japanese rider, 2 Belgiuns, Chech Republic, Netherlands,Spanish, and a Columbian. I finished 2nd in my first 3 races but made a mistake in the knockout stages and unfortunately got knocked out. I had a really great time and my best Bmx buddy became world champion!
When we got home I raced at the British championships, I won my first race and made it all the way to the semi finals against all the best British riders. I’ve had a great season except for a few crashes. I have signed for a new team next year and have a new sponsor, so I’m already excited about next season. Hope you all had a great Holiday!

On Tuesday we went to London. When we got there we went to a restaurant called Zizzi’s by the river Thames. On Wednesday we went to the Transport museum and after we went to the theatre to see Horrible Histories. I bought a box of stickers and a jumbo pencil. On Thursday we went to the Tower of London, we saw the crown jewels.
My camping trip to wales!

In the holidays i went to wales to go camping with my Mum,Dad,Freddie and Ava.
the company was called “parkdean” we have been there before with my Nan and Grandad we rate it 10/10
we stayed in a caravan that was already there but it wasn’t one that you tow or drive so we stayed in one of those it was nice and cosy to.
parkdean is Ava first holiday we cant tell but we think she enjoyed it!
The drive was 4 hours but it was worth it.
We loved the entertainment at night and on one night we stayed up to play bingo we nearly won £199 but somebody else had more bingo numbers on there’s but we had fun!

This week
On Tuesday we came home from Greece. I went to sleep in the car half way through the journey home it was 2am. When we woke up later on we went to my Nana’s for breakfast. On Thursday we went to look for Shaun the sheep in Bristol, we found 13. Here are some pictures of my holiday.
Corfu
It is very hot today because we are in Corfu and it’s about 35 degrees!!! I will put some pictures on another blog when we get home. We have a villa and a swimming pool.
Cricket camp
On Monday I went to cricket camp and it was pouring with rain, eventually it got a bit sunny. When it was raining we had to go outside otherwise we would have missed all of our cricket time.
On Thursday Tyler came to play, we played in our den. We watched Home on DVD and played with my hot wheels.
On Friday I went to Art camp. We made our own t-shirts and did splatter painting.
Poor birdie
When I was sitting in the conservatory I saw a baby bird flying in the garden. It flew into the window.I ran over to Mummy and said MUMMY THERE IS A BABY BIRD THAT HAS FLEW INTO THE WINDOW!!!!!!!!So Mummy said to go and tell Daddy.I told Daddy so he got into his clothes because he was still in his pj’s. Daddy went outside and said to me and Rosie don’t come outside because we could scare the bird. Daddy came back and said can you see all those birds that are looking all over him if I go and bring him in to rescue him all those birds will get angry so we left him for a bit. Then we went outside again and Daddy moved him gently. Rosie said can we take him to the vets. Nooo we all shouted!!!!!! Daddy moved the hose then he flew away, back to his family.
Funday
On Friday I went to a fun day at Berkley. It rained ALL day but I played some fun games like Bingo, 21, musical statues and musical bumps. I went on the prize list 3 times and I got to pick 3 toys. I chose 2 finger monsters and a football rubber. On Monday I am going to Cricket Camp.
Moving up day!!!
moving up day was very fun this year.We drew a yiper it was very funny. we did a draw label I did a Minecraft so did Luke!!!
last day day of yr 3
it was the last day of yr. 3 and the last day of Berkley for owls. we had fun times in badgers but lots of people cried in the leavers service because Mrs b and miss p were leaving. but we still had a great time. we packed away all our stuff. they will all bring back memories from the past.
Gym competition
On Saturday I took part in a gym competition.I came joint 1st and won a Gold medal.also I won the team trophy but I got it because I was the only one in my group.My group was called Gymfinity.

New Sister

here is my new baby sister,Ava she is very cute as you can see. In those pictures she is about a week old but now she is about a week and a few days.She was born with lots of hair and big blue eyes.
she was born on the 26Th of June on a friday because I woke up and went down stairs to have some bagels but on the way down I saw my grandma and jump I asked her what was going on and she said that mum was having the baby and I cried but a good cry. And that is my story of AVA! Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Our new puppy
we got a new puppy. its so cute. its boulder terrier, and its called Freddie. some people think his couler is a brownie. he chews everything and in the morning he comes in my room and steals my toys. he attacks the our cat Charlie with licking, biting or sniffing. he barks at the hover and with the brush he chews the end. he makes a mess with with his sticks. he knows 2/3 tricks. he knows sit and down but I put the slash because he knows stay but sometimes he does it. he knows his name and Freddie can be weird sometimes. we take him for walks and when my cousin comes over Freddie plays with ruby my cousins dog. he loves everyone because he jumps up and licks anyone he sees if someone doesn’t play with Freddie he will cry.
My Half Term
I’ve had a really exciting half term. First I went to a fostering workshop and it was a nature hunt , which was really good. Then it was my dads birthday and we went to Bath for the day shopping. Then ……….. Saturday came which was my birthday. I got lots of presents but best of all mum and dad surprised me and I got tickets to go to the Harry Potter Studios. Even better we were leaving in two hours !!! It was amazing and I got a Harry Potter wand , but the best thing was when we got there they asked if anyone had a birthday, I said YESSSSS and I got to open the doors to the great hall. I can’t wait to see my best friend Jamie because he sent me a birthday text to my mum. Hope you all had a great half term like me.
Hello Everyone at Berkley School
I had a very long journey with Mrs Hirons going in a car, on a train, then on a coach and then finally an aeroplane. I had lots of sleeps on the plane and we watched lots of movies. Paddington Bear was my favourite and I had ice cream too. We could always see where we were flying on the screen and when we landed there was a camera under the plane to watch the wheels go down.
We went to Hong Kong first and it was very hot and rainy there. We then went to Australia. It was very exciting to go to School to get Jack and Ella and see lots of children. We have been to lots of beaches . We went whale and dolphin watching but we didn’t see any . This was at Byron Bay which is the most easterly point of Australia. We went to a place called Paradise point for lunch and when we came out there were about 30 Ferrari cars . I couldn’t choose my favourite.
We then went up the Q1 which is the tallest building on the Goldcoast . The views were amazing ! It has the fastest lift in Australia and you can watch a film of it going up and down while you are in it which is really weird.
We went for a walk in the bush to try and find some of my relatives . We haven’t seen any yet as I think they are hiding at the moment. We will keep kangaroo spotting.
I have been to football matches and netball matches with the children and Jack scored a goal and Ella’s team won 15-3 and she won girl of the match.
We are now off to stay in Brisbane for a few days and then going to Rockhampton where there is a crocodile park . I hope they feed them before I get there !
They are also filming Pirates of the Carribean here at the moment so we are hoping to go and see the film set and see the Pirates.

Year 3 rugby tournament
On May 20th 2015, 11 year 3 children took part in the annual Frome schools Tag Rugby Tournament, which is usually for year 4 children. The weather was rather chilly yet sunny and much better than the rest of the week. The children all played brilliantly and gave it there all! There were some close matches and they certainly saved the best till he last match where they won 5-2, with tries from Mia, Henry, Billy, Rowan and Katie. All the parents and Miss P cheered and shouted encouragement throughout while Mr Groves did super coaching, subbing and gave the children great advice.
Thank you to all who took part. The children represented Berkley brilliantly! Next year the children will be challenging for the title! Come on Berkley!
Literacy story walks with iPads
Today the children in Badgers and Owls have had a lot of fun finding out parts to a story using GPS on an ipad and the having to solve lots of riddles!
They then created their own in groups, and shared their riddles with each other.

MY EASTER HOLIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In the Easter holidays I had Lily to sleep we stayed up for a long time and went to bed a 10:00. We watched Walking on sunshine. My favourite part is ALL OF IT IS A AWESOME FILM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The next day Lily went home. So time to go to my worst part of the holiday when my family, so me, Elliot,Mum and Dad went to Becky, Neil ,William and Alex’s house. We went to the park and I used the stomp rocket that William got for his birthday and I jumped on it and landed on my foot funny and I couldn’t walk on it. So the next day Mum took me to the doctors and they looked at it and said that they think I’ve sprained some ligaments in my foot so I was put on crutches for a few days. We went to Leah’s house for a Easter egg hunt and still managed to do the Easter egg hunt.
It was a fun Easter holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My Easter Holidays
In the first week Clark came round for lunch and a play, we made pizza and easter cakes. I had a fun day at Berkley and got star of the day.
In the second week we went on holiday to Yorkshire. We had a view of Richmond Castle. Our cottage was nice. On mummy’s birthday we went to La Piazza for tea. I ate meatballs and spaghetti it was a very big portion. We saw a bird display on Monday. We went to a cheese factory and ate some cheese. Then we went to the chocolate factory. On Thursday we went to York to a Viking museum it smelt of vikings. We went to a farm called Big Sheep Little Cow on Friday, I held a mouse and a rat, I stroked a giant rabbit, a tortoise, a ferret and a chick. I brushed a pig then we fed the lambs milk in a bottle then Maddie’s lamb ran away!

MY EASTER BREAK IT WAS FUN
My Easter break was fun on the first Sunday I had Lily to sleep . Lily bought some HARIBOS which were very tasty. The next day lily went home and I had a day where I could do what ever I wanted because we were at home all day. On Tuesday I went rollerskating with Amelia and Elliot and Hugo it was really fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After the rollerskating Amelia and Hugo stayed for a sleepover. Me and Amelia slept in the double bed in the spare room and Elliot and Hugo slept in Elliots room. The next day Amelia went home and Gracie-may came at 6:00 clock to stay for a sleepover we slept in the spare bed again. When it was the morning me my dad my mum Gracie-may and Elliot went to Crealy adventure park.
My weekend in Manchester
I went to Manchester this weekend to race. The racing didn’t go exactly to plan, I had a crash and I narrowly missed out on going through to the finals, but am looking forward to racing Kent in the next round.
On Saturday my friend Taylor and I went into the Velodrome and watched the British sprint team racing. After they finished they started talking to us about our racing. They signed my Great Britain race shirt and let me sit on their bikes and wear their shoes. When I am 10 they have invited me back to ride with them.
MY HALFTERM BREAK
One day Gracie-May had a sleepover at my house because Elliot has had a lot of sleepover and he had Billy came round for tea. First we went to Gracie-Mays house to get her then we got Billy. We had pizza for tea my favourite. Me and Gracie-May had pepperoni and the boys had just cheese and tomato. After me and Gracie-May went upstairs to watch a movie we watched my favourite movie WALKING ON SUNSHINE (Mine and Gracie-Mays to be fair!!) We also made loom bands while watching the movie. When my mum came up and said ” You can jump into bed and read”. But me and Gracie-May went on our iPods. I looked at some cute and cool pics and Gracie-May watched a video on you tube. We stayed up till 11:30 which was cool. The next day I went to Gracie-Mays for a bit I was supposed to sleep but we had some friends staying for the weekend so I just had lunch there. Gracie-Mays cousins where there for lunch as well. There names were Gabby, Jack and Robin. It was really fun there we had pizza AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when I got back Lucas ,Ava, Danny and Kate arrived half an hour later. We had pasta cheese and ham for tea. The next day we went to longleat first . we went on the rocking rhino next the boys did deadly 60 and the girls went to the shop and I bought a flamingo pen which looks really cool. We went in the adventure castle which was really , really fun. After that we went round the safari park it took a really long time to get round the lion bit and it was one of the smallest enclosures because a lion was to near to the gate they were not allowed to open it. But we got there in the end. My favourite animal was the wolves because they were like really big dogs and they looked really cuddly soft and fun to play with. When we got home we had tea( I forgot what we had) after me Lucas and Elliot watched a movie together and when we had to turn the telly off my mum said that I was allowed to sleep with the boys because the first night I was the only one who slept by myself so I got to sleep with the boys.
My Half Term
In my half term, Mummy, Daddy, Harrison and I went to the fleet air arm museum. Whilst we were there we went on Concorde. We saw some helicopters and army boats. I had a brilliant day.
My half term
My half term has been super busy ! We’ve been to a christening where Mum and Dad were God Parents. We’ve been to Bristol and to Bath. We had lunch at Bath Hospital because my nan is poorly at the moment. We have been to Trowbridge and went in Next and I got an awesome Lego Movie t shirt. We’ve been to the cinema to see Shaun the Sheep the movie and it was epic ! We had tea in the pub and I had a wicked hot dog. Hope you all had a nice half term as well and I will see you on Tuesday.

First I went to Chichester I stayed in a Premier inn and then I went to see my Uncle and his girlfriend we had dinner in Prezzo. I had Pizza and a little bit of Maddie’s lasagne. The next day we went in HMS Victory in Portsmouth and we visited the Mary Rose. The Mary Rose sank and there was only half of it left. Then we went to the shops and after that we went to bowlplex.
On Wednesday I went to Preston with my two cousins and my auntie and we met a few people there. We had a sleepover and the next day we watched a pantomime called Peter Pan. It was funny because Tinkerbell got stuck when she was flying!
On Saturday I had my birthday party at Writhlington Sports Centre it was laser combat. 15 people came, it was great I loved it.
On Sunday I went to Longleat.
